The goods handling vehicle of modular concept allows a variety of tasks to be undertaken by one basic powered unit coupled to various modules. The basic unit (1) incorporates the power source (4), drive and steering wheels (3) and if required a drivers position. A fork lift mast and hoist (6,7) are also integral to the basic unit. The slave handling module is attached to the basic unit at two interfaces, the chassis framework (9) and at the fork lift carriage (8). Slave modules with telescopic function or bridge layout can be fitted.
