The invention relates to an apparatus for conveying green ceramic bricks, especially roof tiles, and consists of a conveyor track (1) and a distribution track arranged adjacent thereto which distributes green bricks brought by the feed track alternately onto two parallel conveyor tracks arranged adjacent to the distribution track. Arranged above the distribution track is a pusher apparatus whose direction of pushing extends obliquely to the previous conveying direction of the green bricks. The pusher apparatus engages every second green brick by one lateral edge and pushes it, during transportation by the distribution track, out of the previous conveying direction into a new conveying direction lying parallel to the old conveying direction. The pusher apparatus consists of an endless chain revolving around deflection wheels, to which chain a plurality of pusher members are attached at intervals, these gripping the green bricks behind the lateral edges.
