The invention relates to a device for producing local enlargements of anchor holes in concrete constructions and the like, the particular feature of the device consisting of the fact that a pivot bearing for a rotatably functioning drill tool is arranged on a holder in front of the opening of the anchor hole. By virtue of the articulated bearing effective in all directions, the drill tool can be swivelled during the drilling work in such a way that the anchor hole is widened in a spherical cap or cavernous configuration, the shape of this widening being dependent on the profile of the drill head.
