Long, straight switch which responds to curvature

Such switches are intended to be threaded into, or attached to fences, razor-wire rolls ("concertinas") etc. in such a manner that they are forced to follow a bend therein. Beyond a certain radius of curvature, they are intended to report the bend by making internal contact, and the contact which is made is intended to disappear beyond a specific straightening-out level. The tolerances of these two critical radii are intended to be as small as possible. The object is achieved in that a strand, consisting of a series of coaxially arranged straight elements at right angles, is inserted as the inner switching element into, for example, a conductive tube as the outer switching element. Without limiting its generality, the invention comprises a number of refinements to these straight elements at right angles and to their assembly. IMAGE
