The invention relates to a method for key actuation evaluation of operator's positions in special telephone systems, in particular air traffic control systems. A key code (TC) is transmitted with each actuation of the key (TA) for the duration (Td), the key code (TC) being formed from a first time-defined and a second function-time-defined information sub-set (t1 and t2). The actuation of the key (TA) is enabled only if both information sub-sets (t1 and t2) occur in the desired temporal relationship to one another.
