In wet-dust-exhaust and dry-dust-exhaust devices for wheel stands with a rotating grinding tool, side covers (10) are attached to the side walls of a dust box (4) and a bottom part (9). The side covers (10) are guided and fastened with clamping strips (12) in rails (13) and have circular-arc-shaped casing parts (11) running over circumferential angles of 120 DEG -180 DEG and having recesses (18) and lids (19) which are displaceable in guide rails (20) for enlarging the working opening (8). They are closed off on the rear side by rear walls (15). A cover (21) is attached to the front side of the bottom part (9) in such a way as to be vertically adjustable. The cover (21) forms a box which opens towards the interior of the bottom part (9). A spray nozzle (27) is arranged in the interior of the cover (21). IMAGE
