Mobile combat and firing simulation system with wirelessly remote-controlled models

It is intended to provide a multiplicity of gunners and unit commanders with the possibility of carrying out firing simulations and tactical combat exercises under the most realistic combat conditions possible. This is done by means of wirelessly remote-controlled scale models of all known wheeled and tracked vehicles, watercraft and aircraft which are used as attacking target. The aiming gunner (defender) has in his firing device an IR laser firing simulation device. During the aiming process, the IR laser firing simulation device is activated. Each target model is capable of signalling a hit when the focused and pulsed light beam coming from the IR laser firing simulation device impinges on it. To convey a realistic combat impression, a supervising person can have each model selectively fire pyrotechnic effects under remote control.
