The invention relates to a pressing mould for producing highly compacted, low-texture pressed parts from powdered to grainy batch compositions, essentially comprising four movable mould parts, which are identical in pairs and designed such that, when an external force acts, they slide in and over one another in such a way that the inner volume of the pressing mould is continuously reduced and the moulding material located therein is compressed from four sides, the inactive upper and lower cover plates (mirror plates) of the pressing mould preventing any escape of the moulding material in the direction perpendicular to the action of the pressing pressure.
