摘要
For localising fuel elements with sheath tube damage during operation, sucking out fission gas above each fuel element head (4) by means of a sniffer duct (10), the lower end of which is constructed as a degassing apparatus, is proposed. The sucked-out gases are examined in an analysis apparatus for short-lived fission gases. A preferred exemplary embodiment is the use of guide tubes as the sniffer duct also; these tubes are already present for measuring probes (22), and are provided with an arresting device (21) in the lower portion. Degassing is supported by supplying protective gas through a pipeline (11). IMAGE
