In a circuit arrangement (SM) for measuring and damping asymmetrical radio interference voltage on symmetrical two-wire connection lines of telecommunications equipment (FG), the transmission of the user data signal is not to be significantly impaired, while at the same time the radio interference voltage is to be attributed to the corresponding interference source. For this purpose, a highly symmetrical choke (D1) with an extended mid-point is inserted according to the invention between the two wires (a, b), which choke is connected to one pole of a measuring device (MG), while a winding of a current-compensated choke (D2) is inserted in each case in each of the two wires (a, b) in the line section facing away from the device under test.
