A plastic part is concerned, in particular consisting of soft plastic material and with at least one threaded insert or attachment having an internal or external thread, for example for pneumatic equipment. In this case, the threaded insert or attachment (22) is formed from hard plastic material, for example from glass-fibre or carbon-fibre reinforced plastic and is pressed into a bore of the body of the plastic part of soft plastic material. The threaded insert or attachment is connected gas-tightly and firmly to the surrounding wall. In addition, a process for producing such a plastic part is concerned. In the production operation, for example when injection-moulding the plastic part at the point of the plastic part at which the thread is to be formed on the finished plastic part, a clearance or an opening is produced, the diameter of which is greater in the case of an internal thread than the diameter of the cylinder defined by the internal thread. After completion of the plastic part, a bushing of a complementary shape with respect to the opening and having the required internal thread, and in the case of the external thread a threaded bolt with the required thread and with a portion complementary to the opening, are pressed into the produced opening or into the clearance and bonded gas-tightly and firmly to the plastic part, for example by ultrasonic welding, adhesion or in some other way.
