PURPOSE:To obtain a multilayered one body type analyzing material, by laminating at least a reagent layer containing an indicator for protein and a nonproteinic binder carried on a protein adsorbent and a porous liquid sample developing layer on a transparent supporting body in this order. CONSTITUTION:A color indicator carrying out a color reaction such as coloring, discoloraton or decoloration combining with protein or a fluorescence indicator giving a large variation for fluorescence intensity, wavelength etc. combining with the protein, is held in a reagent layer under the condition of carrying on a carrier having a property to combine with the protein and a sample liquid containing the protein (material to be inspected) is introduced into a developing layer. Hereafter, the protein in the sample is diffused into the reagent layer or accelerated and a quantitative determination is performed by detecting the variation of absorbance or the fluorescence intensity by the reaction of the protein with the indicator on the carrier by utilizing the absorption capacity for the protein of said carrier. Further, a protein adsorbent carrying an optically detachable indicator by combining the reagent layer with the protein and a non- proteinic binder permeating the protein, are contained.
