A device intended for the activation of the water delivered by appliance nozzles comprises, in a casing, a magazine (1) arranged to receive a dose-cartridge of solid active product (2). At least one end of this magazine is provided with means (3, 4) for connecting to an irrigator appliance nozzle. Means (6, 7) are set up for controlling, and blocking if need be, the flow of water in the magazine containing the cartridge. This device applies advantageously to the physico-chemical activation of the water of sanitary showers. It makes it possible to provide the pressurised running water of the showers with varied specific properties, which may be therapeutic, aromatic, etc. IMAGE
