The anti-tank rocket firing tube is mounted integrally with a sighting device which is swung with the weapon to follow the target. Incorporated in the mechanism is a laser (7) and receiver (8) forming a telemetric device. In line with the sighting tube (41) is a prism, a fixed mirror, a dichroic plate (11) and a window (19) at the outlet. A light source (6) directs a beam onto a mirror (13) above the laser, directing it towards the dichroic plate, which so mounted on a frame with a drive to rotate it about horizontal (17) and vertical axes (18). A triangular prism (15) is mouhted above the dichroic plate. A distance calculator receives rotary angular speed signals from the sighting system, and is connected to a deviation detector and controls the positioning motors, a step down drive being used.
