The large capacity vehicle is for public transport. It has heating and conditioning equipment and also a large box like structure placed below the floor. This box has entries for fresh or recycled air and keeps the passenger compartment slightly under atmospheric pressure and has outlets to atmosphere. Passages are provided in the floor, which is double and consists of a completely closed structure. Heat exchangers can be housed in these openings which can extend for the full length of the pasenger compartment, and can extend under the driver's compartment. The heat exchangers can operate from engine cooling water.
