The connector for a number of parallel conductors enables coupling to a printed circuit board. Two cables each carry a number of conductors in a flat layer of insulating plastic. An insulating rib encloses each conductor. Parts of the insulating rib are removed to expose the conductors, and two sets of parallel terminals are placed between the two cables. Two rods lie across the cables so as to press them into contact with the terminals, and are received in grooves cut in two rectangular insulating connector shells. The shells are of a suitable width to enclose the cable width, and fit together to form a square connector with two sets of parallel terminals. Spring clips fit around the two sides of the connector to hold it together.
