Carpet sample card binder - has panels with rigid transparent margins extended via parallel hinge grooves by outer margins

The binder is for cards of samples fixed to cardboard panels with clear margins. Each panel (1) has a margin (2) rigidly secured to it and extended by an outer margin (4) of, at the most, the same width, separated from it by two parallel hinge grooves (5). The latter form between them a small spine whose width is equal to the thickness of the samples fixed to the panel. The panels are joined together in a block which can be leafed through, each outer margin apart from the last one being folded over onto the next margin and secured by a fixing device (7).
