Cold store with variable humidity level - has thermostatically controlled electric fan for evaporating water accumulated either in refrigerating circuit or in de-frosting container

The store comprises a chamber with a refrigeration circuit (13) and provides an adjustable hygronometric level. The hygronometric level is obtained by controlling the operation of residual water collecting at the cold points of the refrigeration circuit (13) or within a defrosting tank (15) of the latter. Pref. the refrigeration circuit comprises an evaporator (4), a condenser (3) and a compressor (2) with a defrosting tank (15) at the base of the chamber. The cold air is circulated by a fan (5) with its motor (6) controlled by a thermostat (8), so that the fan (5) operates intermittently when a low hygrometry level is required, with a switch (7) allowing the motor (6) to drive the fan (5) continuously when a high hygrometry level is required. The cold store allows various foods to be stored at the correct temp., and hygrometric level.
