Temp. sensor data acquisition controller - switches power to matching amplifier and converter during acquisition period and has addressing system for data accumulation
Data acquisition is performed by conversion to digital form for storage and subsequent measurement at any chosen rate. The output from a sensor is applied via a matching amplifier to an A/D converter whose output is stored in a memory system. The measuring steps are controlled from a crystal oscillator and frequency divider which operate a switching circuit. A counter divider provides addressing information on a bus system to increment the memories. While a memory address is present the matching amplifier and converter are powered to allow acquisition of the sensor output. A monostable operates a relay circuit to cut off the power to terminate the acquisition cycle.
