Sliding shutter mould for concrete kerb - has interior insert linings changing kerb section without changing mould

The sliding shutter continuously casts kerbs with a backing or with an integral pitched channel by blanking off the flow of concrete using mould inserts. An insert on the left produces the kerb and channel, an insert on the right produces the kerb and backing. The mould is preceded by an integral hopper box and tapered walls in this aid mould insert removal. On a single pitch road where a channel is required only on the lower side, the mould after casting can be moved across the road to continue working in the opposite direction towards the starting point.
