The box is of parallelepiped form and can be made of cardboard. To help extn. of the cake, the upper part of one only of the four vertical sides of the box is cut away to form an aperture. When the box is closed the aperture is covered by a downward extension of the box top which is hinged to the side opposite the aperture. The box top is covered by two top, overlapping flaps hinged to the two sides at right angles to the aperture side.
