Medical device sterilisation case - having tapering post secured in base aperture to prevent devices shifting laterally

A case has an integral post mounted in a bottom plate circular aperture and comprising a base disc larger than the aperture, a cylindrical neck with the same diameter as the aperture and a height equal to plate thickness, and a frustoconical stem extending to a convex top which merges with the stem. Stem lower end diameter is greater than that of the aperture and the stem tapers to not more than aperture diameter. Clearance between post top and case top is less than the size of a device. The post is pref. of plastics, e.g. Delrin, and prevents lateral movement of a device.
