Applying foam contg. additives e.g. dyes on e.g. textile fabric - using rotary printing frame into which the foam is injected

Foam is applied on a flat, opt. textile, substrate by means of a rotary printing frame which is not engraved and into which the foam is injected. The distribution of the foam on the flat support is ensured by the pressure of the magnetic doctor blade on the perforations of the mesh comprising the fabric of the rotary frame. The process allows various additives such as dyes, alkaline prods., fixing agents, finishing agents, etc. to be applied on a still wet substrate (e.g. directly leaving a wet process, partic. in a printing equipment) in the form of a foam.
