摘要
The fish egg incubator uses an open inner tank (18) in a double bottomed outer tank (1) to locate eggs in a rising flow of water. A vertical space between the inner and outer tanks forms an intermediate chamber (23) defined by perforated partition walls (19,2). The holes (20) in the top partition permit larvae to pass whilst retaining eggs, and the holes (3) in the lower partition are covered by a layer of gravel (4). The hollow bottom of the outer chamber constitutes a conical supply chamber (10) with a tangential valved (12) feed (11) at a higher level than a waste pipe (6) of a reduced dia. An inner tank overflow (17) is sited below the top edges (21,16) of both tanks. The waste may clear a circular hollow stand (7), the interval between tanks being maintained by the overflow pipe (24) with a packing seal (25).
