The clamp is for fixing a net to a table tennis table. The net is fixed to two support rods that are square or rectangular in section and L-shaped. The bottom parts of these are fitted into holes pierced horizontally in the sides of the table. One hole has a stop to position the rod accurately. On the other side is a spring over the rod to keep the tension of the net constant.
