Heat recovery module for local heating applications - uses enclosure with heat absorbent walls having embedded serpentine coil carrying working fluid which gathers low grade heat

The absorbed heat is stored in a gaseous or liquid working fluid which follows a serpentine path inside the absorbent walls which form the casing of the unit. A circulation pump increases pressure and thus temp. of the working fluid which transfers to a second serpentine coil from which the heat is transferred to the outside air. The flow of air over the warm coil can be increased by an electrically driven fan mounted in the base of the unit. The heating of the fluid in the absorbing walls can be derived from any low grade source of energy e.g. solar heating or heat from warm air extracted during ventilation. A supplementary electric heating element can be incorporated.
