The system has several thermostatic switching elements coupled to the same control element. The thermostatic switching elements are formed round the integrated circuit type TDA 1024 which controls triacs as the power control elements, and the common control element is a potentiometer which establishes a reference voltage V2. The system has one triac and associated integrated circuit for each electric resistance heating element to be controlled. A step is introduced between the set - temp. voltage applied to the first control circuit and that applied to the second circuit by introducing a diode in the connection between the two reference voltage pins.
