The extendable storage unit for magnetic tape cassettes with or without cases, has a number of ordering units (2a,2b,2c) which can be connected together by a hook and eye arrangement. Each cassette is held by two ordering units one enclosing the lower end, and a second inverted unit the top end. Each ordering unit has a base (3), two lateral walls (4) and a back wall (6). One lateral wall has a projection or extension (12a,12b,12c) and the other lateral wall has a hollow or window (9a) into which the projecting part of the neighbouring unit will fit, connection being made by means of a hook and eye. The projection and the hollow are trapezoidal being wider at the base (14b) than at the free end (13b). The units are mfd. from an appropriate plastics material which can be injection moulded.
