The insulating building wall has an internal cavity made up of two continuous rows of cellular concrete blocks (3), which form the external and internal wall facings. A non-continuous series of insulating slabs (4) made of expanded plastics or concrete are placed between the internal and external wall facings and a reinforcing iron framework is introduced into the gaps between the slabs. Concrete is then cast over the framework to complete the assembly.
