Nasal spray to prevent snoring - contg. physiological serum and surfactant

Compsns. contg. physiological serum, a surfactant compatible with rhino-pharyngeal mucous membranes, and opt. other additives that are similarly compatible, are new. The serum is sodium chloride in purified water. The surfactant is pref. a polyhydroxyethylated sorbitan ester, esp. a sorbitan mono-oleic ester condensed with 20 mols of ethylene oxide. The other additives that may be present include preservatives, such as ethanol, and sweeteners, such as glycerine or panthenol. The compsns. are applied to the rhino-pharyngeal mucous membranes to prevent snoring. 0.5-10 ml, pref. 1.0 ml is applied to each nostril by means of an aerosol, spray or dropper, each evening before retiring.
