The slideway is formed by a tube with a keway along which a slide can be driven by an endless chain driven by a motor; and a motor; and a pneumatic hammer drill is located on the slide. On the base of the slideway tube is an anchor formed by a jack, which is pref. a hydraulic cylinder located on a conical tube placed in a hole in the ground. In the jack is a spring-loaded piston carrying a bush on its outer end; and the bush is made of an elastic material which is expanded by the jack to clamp the slideway in the ground.
