The rotary implement gathers vine shoots lying on the ground, using hook tools (4) following a circular trajectory. The tools scrape the ground and then move up and over, the sense of rotation being such that the tools move in the same direction as the tractor during scraping. The tool axle (3) is normal to the longitudinal tractor axis the tools being designed to follow ground contours and tip at an overhead position. The weight of the tools acts with centrifugal force to apply the tools to the ground.
