The anti-personnel mine with a directed effect has an explosive charge with primer enclosed by splintering material or metal balls etc. It comprises a cylindrical pot (1) buried in the ground and forming the launcher for a one-piece projectile formed by the charge and material (4,4a). The latter encloses only part of the projectile periphery, the primer being mounted eccentrically and on the opposite side to the sector formed by it. The ratio between projectile height and diameter can be between 1.2:1 and 1.6:1, and its centre of gravity can be offset towards the splintering material.
