A guide (3) in the form of torus has a radius (R) which is less than that of a source generator (1). The guide is located in one plane (xOy) and the source is cylindrical with a radius (A) having the same centre (O). A ray (6) from a point (5) in the source propagates normally to the surface in a medium (4) between the source and a dioptic lens (2). The ray strikes the lens at a point (D) where it has cylindrical coordinates and from which it is refracted as a ray (7) which propagates in a coupling medium (5). The ray is injected into the guide at an incident point (G) from where it is refracted to follow the circle of the guide.
