Plough with furrow spacing adjustment - uses pin joined parallelogram linkage to mount tools and braced parallelogram which connects beam to coupling head

The plough uses a coupling head (8) attached to a tractor to mount a compound pin-jointed parallelogram incorporating the tools (5), the assembly providing for adjustment of the furrow spacing (A) whilst maintaining the offset from the last furrow cut. The parallelogram comprises a beam (6), several tool-brackets (13) at uniform centres, and a connecting rod (15), being attached two pin-jointed straps (24,25). A pin-jointed link (29) connects one strap to a member (13) of the parallelogram and a two way jack (30) modifies the angle between the brackets and the beam to vary the furrow spacing.
