Recovering tin from cassiterite

摘要

A process of recovering tin from cassiterite comprises partial reduction of the cassiterite to metallic tin in an aqueous medium and formation of coherent aggregates of large particle size which are separated from gangue minerals by methods utilizing changed particle characteristics, e.g. by screening.
