The device consists of a detector, for instance a bimetallic element, which is switched on when reaching a given temperature and is connected in the circuit of a small radio transmitter mounted on the rotating member and actuated upon the detector switching, and of a fixed equipment, mounted on the vehicle and comprising a radio receiver connected to an optical and/or acoustical alarm device.
