PURPOSE:To improve quantitative determination performance and exactness in a Fourier transform spectroscope by making the luminous flux from a light source to parallel light by a parabolic mirror and irradiating the same to a sample. CONSTITUTION:A plane mirror 2 is placed slightly obliquely with respect to a luminous flux 1 so that said flux is made incident to a parabolic mirror 3. The converging point O1 of the light is made coincident with the focus of the mirror 3. A sample 4 is placed in front of the mirror 3 and the light reflected from said mirror is made to parallel light 5 which is made incident to the sample 4. The light 5 is reflected by another parabolic mirror 9 and is imaged on the focus O2. The image is reflected by a plane mirror 7 and is transmitted to a detector 8 side.
