ACTUAL OPENING DEGREE CONVERTER OF RADIAL GATE

PURPOSE:To graduate an opening degree meter in actual opening degrees at equal intervals to make it easy to read by making an arc having the same length as the length of a chord, which a belt wound around a semicircular rail makes out of the rail, proportional to the rotation angle of an output shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a gate 1 is rotated at an angle theta, a drum 20 for input is rotated at an angle 2theta because the drum 20 is formed to have the half radius of a drum 9, and the rotation is transmitted to an input shaft 16, and a driving rod 25 is rotated at the same angle, and a belt 34 is moved by an extent corresponding to the length of a chord PR which one end side of the belt 34 makes out of a semicircular rail 31. An actual opening degree H is proportional to the length of the chord PR, and the rotation angle of an output shaft 24 to which a connecting rod 26 is attached is proportional to the actual opening degree H because a pulling-up length QS of the connecting rod 26 is equal to the chord PR. Consequently, an output gear 37 transmits the output proportional to the actual opening degree H to an opening degree meter 40.
