INPUTTING METHOD OF NONSTANDARDIZED CHARCTER FOR CHINESE CHARACTER INPUT DEVICE AND PULSE GENERATING CIRCUIT USED THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To accomplish a simple inputting of nonstandardized characters by applying pulses to an upcount or downcount input terminal through a given circuit in the number equeal to the coodinate difference between the characters on a character panel the nonstandardized characters. CONSTITUTION:Selector switches 34 and 35 are so interlocked that the switch 35 is closed quicker than the switch 34. When the switches are turned to contacts 34b and 35b, one pulse is sent to a clear terminal 23 of a counter 21 from a monostable multivibrator 33 to clear the counter 21. Pulses from an a stable multivibrator 32 are inputted into the counter 21 with the result that the input terminals of a NAND circuit 30 goes to ''1'' whereby the counter 21 is halted. The number 47 of pulses from an AND circuit 31 is added to bring the number 32 preset of the up/down counter to 79 through a contact 35b so that the second standard chinese characters are replaced by the nonstandardized characters. Accordingly, the nonstandardized characters can be inputted simply at a low cost.
