DREDGING OF SLUDGE IN DEEP WATER LAYER OF RESERVOIR FOR POWER GENERATION OR MULTI-PURPOSE DAM

摘要

PURPOSE:To simplify dredging work for the reservoir of dam by confirming the condition of the bottom of the reservoir of dam on the basis of a plan and vertical section diagram showing a dredging area which is prepared by calculation in terms of contour lines on the basis of the measured results of the water depth of the reservoir of dam. CONSTITUTION:A dredging section is divided along plural reference lines connecting between a pair of labeled piles provided on one spot each of both banks of a reservoir in the first place. The measurement of water depth is proceeded along each reference line, the pressure density of sludge of the bottom sediment is measured, preset water depth points are plotted on each reference line, and iso-water depth points on each line are connected to form iso-water depth lines or sea-level contour lines on which a plan diagram of a dredging section is prepared. A vertical section diagram along each reference line is then prepared and the condition of the bottom of the reservoir is three-dimensionally judged from each vertical section diagram. On the basis of the judged results, dredging tools are lowered from a dredger and a sequential dredging work is advanced.
