ELECTRIC POWER GENERATION UTILIZING ESTUARINE DAM AND SYSTEM OF LIFTING WATER UPON HIGH TIDE IN COMBINATION

PURPOSE:To obtain electric power by a head by a method wherein water is lifted to an upper stage dam upon high tide and a water head difference between a seawater level upon low tide and the water level of the dam is utilized. CONSTITUTION:The dam D is provided and the downstream zone thereof is digged toward the area of sea G as shown by a sign C. The water level upon low tide comes to the level F and the same upon high tide comes to the level E, therefore, the head difference between the water level E and the level K in the dam becomes smaller than the difference upon low tide. The water is lifted to the upper dam upon the high tide by utilizing the time band of the high tide while electric power is obtained by a power generating plant when the difference between the water level upon the low time and the level K of the dam is enlarged.
