摘要

PURPOSE:To show a color of its own by application of electric voltage, by forming a continuous film on an electron conductive material by an electrochemical method using a mixed solution of ferric ion and a substituted cyano complex ion. CONSTITUTION:A solution containing Fe3+ ion and [Fe(CN)5X]X- ion (X is NH3, NO, CO, or H2O when l is 2; X is NO-2, N-3 or SCN- when l is 3; X is SO2-3 when l is 4) is prepared. A material having electron conductivity on the surface and a pair of electrodes to apply an electric current to the material are immersed in the solution. The material having electron conductivity on the surface is polarized in the negative electrode direction. Consequently, a thin film or Prussian blue analogs capable of showing a colore of its own by application of electric voltage can be obtained.
