PREPARATION OF POROUS INK IMPREGNATED BODY AND PREPARED POROUS INK IMPREGNATED BODY

PURPOSE:To obtain an ink impregnated body having numberless fine continuous pores, by a method wherein salt put in a mold is sintered and a molding stock material is poured in the mold in a molten state to be penetrated between salt particles and, after the stock material is solidified, the molded one is taken out to elute said salt. CONSTITUTION:Particles of salt C each with a particle size of 10-300mum are put in a lower mold B provided with air vent orifices 2 and heated at about 800 deg.C for a time sufficient to sinter the same. A molding stock material (e.g., rubber) is poured from above in a molten state (e.g., a solution state) to be penetrated into gaps 10 between particles of the salt sintered body. After the stock material is solidified by the evaporation of the solvent, the molded one is taken out of the mold and the salt therein is eluted to obtain a porous molded body. When synthetic resin is used as the molding stock material, it can be brought to the molten state by melting the same under heating.
