ASSEMBLY OF ROTOR FOR REVOLVING-FIELD TYPE AC GENERATOR

PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the retaining strength of a field coil by such an arrangement wherein a bonding wire is wound around a hexagonal boss, and adhesive sheets are pasted around the boss. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive tape 25 is wound around a boss 24 of which crosssection is hexagonal, and a field coil 26 is formed by winding a bonding wire around the boss. Next, adhesive sheets 28, 29 are pasted to the side and circular surfaces of the field coil, and then 2 pieces of pawl-type magnetic poles 4A, 4B are installed to the hexagonal boss so that they are brought to tightly contact with both sides of the field coil, and a rotor is assembled by causing all parts to adhere each other by drying. Since the field coil is wound around the hexagonal boss, there is no possibility that only the field coil is caused to move, and possible broken wire at the joint of the field coil and a slip ring can be prevented, and moreover assembly becomes easier, because varnish coating work is no longer required throughout the whole assembly work.
