PURPOSE:To enable thrusting of the processing machine into the soft earth in the prescribed direction, by providing a jack at the tip part of a stirring shaft of the processing machine and by controlling therewith the direction at a proper angle. CONSTITUTION:The stirring shafts 6, while being rotated, are thrusted into the soft ground. As the thrusting of the stirring shafts 6 advances, it is ascertained based on a signal transmitted sequentially from inclination measuring units 14 whether the stirring shafts 6 are thrusted vertically or in the prescribed direction. In the case when there occurs an inclination of the tip parts of the stirring shafts 6 from the prescribed direction, the inclination of the lower end part 8a of a supporting tube can be corrected by extending or contracting the hydraulic jacks 13.
