PURPOSE:To increase the number of heat collectors per unit area by a method wherein a heating- medium discharge pipe and a heating-medium feed pipe are projected from the top face and from the bottom face, respectively, of the heat collector in such a manner that the pipe are located substantially on a diagonal, and the discharge pipe and feed pipe of adjacent pair of heat collectors are connected with each other by the connecting pipe. CONSTITUTION:The heating medium discharge pipe 2 and the heating medium feed pipe 3 are projected from the top face and from the bottom face, respectively, of the heat collector 1 in such a manner that the pipes are located substantially on a diagonal. Such heat collectors 1 are arranged in series while keeping the end faces (top and bottom faces) adjacent to each other, and the discharge pipe 2 and the feed pipe 3 of each adjacent pair of heat collectors are interconnected through the connecting pipe 4. Accordingly, the use of two different kinds of heat collectors is unnecessitated, and the width of longitudinal joint is reduced. In addition, since the connecting pipe 4, the discharge pipe 2 and the feed pipe 3 are staggered in position relative to one another, the width of lateral joint can be reduced and hence a larger number of heat collectors can be used per unit area.
