SPINNING UNIT OF OPENNEND SPINNING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To prevent useless fiber feed into a spinning rotor and to raise the success ratio of ending, by providing every spindle with both a yarn nip device capable of holding the end of the yarn by means of a stop switch and a noncontact type detector capable of finding out end breakage in the suspension and starting of a spinning machine. CONSTITUTION:Fibers fed from the feeder 2, through the opening and transporting roller 5, and to the spinning rotor 1 are spun and the yarn 9 is taken out from the yarn drawing out pipe 1'. The yarn nip device 6 is furnished at the vicinity of the outlet of the yarn drawing out pipe 1' in such a way that it nips the end of the yarn with the operation of the stop switch and leaves the end of the yarn as the starting switch becomes in motion. The noncontact type detector 6 capable of finding out end breakage separately is set to prevent useless fiber feed into the spinning rotor 1 in a time after the operation of the stop switch, at least in the suspension and starting of a spinning machine. The end of the yarn will not deviate from the range of negative pressure influence caused by turns of the spinning rotor to raise the success ratio of ending.
