PURPOSE:To increase the printing efficiency, by keying the next key while a key is continuously pushed with both hands. CONSTITUTION:A character key is pushed and released, and then a Chinese character shift key is pushed. Thus the signal supplied from an OR gate 462 is supplied to the reset terminals of flip-flops(FF)465 and 466, and the in-frame Chinese character signal is delivered from the FF466. When the Chinese character shift key is pushed while a character key is pushed continuously, AND gates 467 and 468 are opened by the signals sent from OR gates 461 and 462. Thus the set signals are supplied to the FF465 and FF466, and at the same time the signals are supplied to the reset terminals of the FF465 and FF466 via the gate 462 and a lead wire 469.
