PROTECTANT OF CUCUMBER AGAINST BLIGHT *HANTEN SAIKIN BYO* LIKE SPOT

摘要

PURPOSE:A composition capable of controlling blight (hanten saikin byo) like spot of cucumbers almost completely, usable as a foliar treating dusting powder or seed antiseptic, comprising asugamycin or its salt as an active constituent. CONSTITUTION:A protectant comprising asugamycin or its salt effective against blast, used in an amount of 100-400 ppm as a solution or wettable powder, and for an antiseptic in the seed stage, and a preventive before the attack of blight and a treating agent after the attack as dusting powder. The agent is effective against hanten saikin byo which does much damage to cucumbers with great infection, but are not controlled effectively with a drug.
